CENTRAL ASIA OVERVIEW

You will live in a beautiful, historical yet modern city of over 1 million people in a region full of Biblical history, cultural diversity, and a great opportunity for the advance of the Gospel. The people here are friendly, welcoming, and proud of their history, culture, and traditions and more than 95% of them are Muslim. You will learn their language, culture, and history, and build relationships with them to share life and the hope of the Gospel.

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

Your job will be to lead, serve, encourage and mentor students who are considering long-term work among the unreached in a closed country. You will be involved in ongoing evangelism, discipleship, ministry, and spiritual growth efforts, and encouraged to use your gifts and talents to further the ongoing work of bringing people into the Kingdom of God. You will mentor up to 4-5 students per semester in group and one-on-one settings as they live life among the unreached. These mentoring sessions will allow time for processing, debriefing, guidance, and encouragement as the students undergo intense training and cross-cultural exposure. You will teach our curriculum in group settings and have input in defining and refining program elements and curriculum. Additionally, you will shepherd and lead these students by example through varying geographic, topographic, and cultural environments during the 3 months of training.
