Job Description Overview

The Partnership Team at Cafe 1040 exists to help churches and universities engage collectively in the Great Commission. As a Church Partnership Manager, your job will be to manage specific relationships with strategic church partnerships.  You will develop deep partnerships with intentionally chosen churches, resource those partners, and help all departments within Cafe 1040 that interact with those partners stay in sync. You will work closely with the Mobilization Team, the Marketing Team, the Development Team, and the International Team.  Your job will be to implement strategic ways to engage churches by managing intentional strategy set by leadership, maintaining clear systems, establishing and meeting deadlines for projects and tasks, and dynamically contributing to the collaborative nature of church partnerships at Cafe 1040.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Mature Christian faith and agreement with Cafe 1040’s statement of faith 

• A passionate follower of Jesus Christ with a proven devotion to the habits necessary to maintain a daily relationship with him

• Reflect personal and public integrity in line with Biblical principles

• Possess a longing for the fulfillment of the Great Commission

• Self-initiative and ability to work independently

• Strong desire to develop and maintain both internal and external relationships 

• Outgoing personality with ability to meet new people and quickly establish relational rapport

• Understanding and love of young adults, as well as the ability to connect with people in every age group

• Patience and understanding for the unique characteristics of the emerging generation

• Represent Cafe 1040 positively within the industry

• English speaking

• Skill in MS Office Suite, Google Apps, Salesforce, Zoom, and Apple OS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.

Specific Job Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities

• Strategizing across multiple departments to effectively support church partner relationships

• Develop and manage partner relationship systems

• Create /maintain reports on measurable tasks

• Manage projects and workflow related to specific partners

• Create and implement planning of events and projects months in advance

• Establish, develop, and steward relationships with Missions Influencers (church pastors, youth leaders, missions leaders, etc) in order to present the mission and vision of Cafe 1040 and to assist them in engaging young adults and the unreached

• Strategize and implement projects that will mobilize young adults through our partners

• Intentionally work with church partners to integrate missions into all departments of the church as opposed to missions being its own stand-alone department.

• Remain up-to-date on current missions and mobilization trends

• Travel as needed within the U.S. (2-5 trips/year or more) as well as occasionally overseas (1-2 trips every 3 years)

• Support and uphold the policies, values, and statement of faith of Cafe 1040

• Maintain sustainable funding levels for role through Cafe 1040 support-raising model

• Actively take the opportunities to mobilize those people in the scope of your influence toward involvement and investment in the mission and vision of Cafe 1040
