Job Description Overview

The Partnership Team at Cafe 1040 exists to help churches and universities engage collectively in the Great Commission. As Agency Partnership Manager, your job will be to manage relationships with other missions organizations and sending agencies.  You will develop deep partnerships with intentionally chosen organizations, resource those partners, and help all departments within Cafe 1040 that interact with those partners stay in sync. You will work closely with the Mobilization Team, the Marketing Team, the Mentor Team, and the International Team.  Your job will be to implement strategic ways to engage other agencies by managing intentional strategy established by leadership, maintaining clear systems, establishing and meeting deadlines for projects and tasks, and dynamically contributing to the collaborative nature of partnerships at Cafe 1040.

REQUIREMENTS:

Critical Qualities

• Mature Christian faith and agreement with Cafe 1040’s statement of faith 

• A passionate follower of Jesus Christ with a proven devotion to the habits necessary to maintain a daily relationship with him

• Reflect personal and public integrity in line with Biblical principles

• Possess a longing for the fulfillment of the Great Commission

• Self-initiative and ability to work independently

• Strong desire to develop and maintain both internal and external relationships 

• Outgoing personality with ability to meet new people and quickly establish relational rapport

• High values of professionalism 

• Patience and understanding for the unique characteristics of the emerging generation

• Represent Cafe 1040 positively within the industry

• English speaking

• Skill in MS Office Suite, Google Apps, Salesforce, Zoom, and Apple OS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.

Specific Job Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities

• Strategize across multiple departments to effectively support partner relationships

• Develop and manage partner relationship systems

• Create /maintain reports on measurable tasks

• Exhibit a strong adaptability, adjusting quickly to shifting environments

• Manage projects and workflow related to specific partners

• Maintain regular, proactive communication with our partners

• Strategize and implement projects that will mobilize young adults through our partners

• Remain up-to-date on current missions and mobilization trends

• Travel as needed within the U.S. (2-5 trips/year or more) as well as occasionally overseas (1-2 trips every 3 years)

• Support and uphold the policies, values, and statement of faith of Cafe 1040

• Maintain sustainable funding levels for role through Cafe 1040 support-raising model

• Actively take the opportunities to mobilize those people in the scope of your influence toward involvement and investment in the mission and vision of Cafe 1040
