FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Students and young professionals from 19 to 25. We would like you to have completed your first year of college or have similar experience to participate.

  • The Summer 2026 Internship program will be from May 26th to July 31st.

  • Both! As an opportunity to learn about support raising, interns will raise support for this role. This is where your salary will come from. We will provide guidance and support in the process of doing so. There is also an option for an unpaid internship.

  • We are so excited to host you in Athens, GA, for this internship! While we will work with you to find housing, we would just ask that you bring a car!

  • If you need housing in Athens, we’ll work alongside you to find a suitable option, such as staying with a host family.

  • It is a requirement of the internship to live in Athens for the summer. However, we would love to talk about other options to help you see what it would be like to work for a missions agency like Cafe 1040! Please reach out to hello@cafe1040.com to learn more!

  • The internship is a hands-on 30-hour weekly commitment that we are asking you to prioritize. While taking one or two classes might be manageable, we do not recommend having a second job during the internship.

  • We would love to work with you to determine if we can fulfill your school’s requirements. We are confident that most students will be able to get credit for this internship.

  • We would love to show you how you can use any degree in the Kingdom! Come learn alongside our staff as they invest a variety of skills in spreading the gospel around the world.

  • This is a great option for graduates discerning their next best steps! We would love to come alongside you in the discernment process while showing you how your skills can be used to spread the gospel.
