Which giving option do I choose?
If you are giving to the general ministry of Cafe 1040, select the first option, "General Ministry."
If you are giving to a staff member of Cafe 1040, select the middle option, "Staff Account."
If you are giving to a student going through the Cafe 1040 program, select the third option, "Student Account."

Can I send a check?
Yes. You can mail a check with a specified account number in the memo to: Cafe 1040, P.O. Box 110, Alpharetta, GA 30009.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Cafe 1040 is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. You will receive giving receipts and an annual summary of giving via email for your tax records. According to IRS guidelines, these gifts remain under the jurisdiction and control of Cafe 1040.

Where Can I see Cafe 1040's Financial statements?
Is my online donation secure?
The Cafe 1040 website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address. We will never store your credit card information.
Can I change my information or payment options at a later time?
If you are setting up a credit card donation, you’ll be able to create an account with the email address you provided to make the donation. Once you’ve created an account, you will be able to change your payment method and personal information at any time. If your donation is through your checking account (direct debit), you can send an email to email@example.com requesting any changes to your account.
Why is my transaction history not visible?
Any giving prior to August 2016 is not visible when you set up your account. Once you create your login and password, your future giving will be accessible within your new account. For a complete history of all of your financial gifts, please contact us.
I received an error setting up my account. What should I do?
Chances are this means you are trying to sign in with a different email address than we have on file or that your reoccurring donation is set up through your checking account (direct debit) and not on a credit card. At this time, accounts can only be created for donations made by credit cards. For help setting up a new recurring donation or accessing your account, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or live chat us for a prompt response.
Can I change my login email?
The email you login with cannot be changed, unless you set up a new transaction. However, if you would like to change the email address where you receive communications, we can gladly change this for you. Send us a live chat or email and we will get your new email set up.
How do I cancel my ongoing donation?
If you established a recurring donation via credit card, you may log in to your account to make changes. After logging into your donor account, there is an “enabled” button that can be checked or unchecked on your reoccurring donations. This is what makes the donation active or inactive. You will need to uncheck the “enabled” box to cancel the reoccurring payment and make it inactive.
If your recurring donation is through your checking account (direct debit), you will need to send an e-mail to email@example.com requesting the desired change.
Can I donate stock?
Yes, we accept stock donations. Check out this page to learn how to give stock.
Can I have my gift matched by my employer?
Yes, if you make your donation online there is an option to request a matching gift right on the giving page. Just enter your work e-mail and your company name. Amply will facilitate the match. You, as the donor, will receive up to three emails from Amply reminding you to submit the match. These reminders take place within 2 weeks of the donation date. If you are not sure what to do, please contact us for assistance at firstname.lastname@example.org. More information may be available on the Amply website which you can find here.
If you do not make your donation online, you can still apply for a matching gift by searching for your employer here.
My company is not listed on the donation page. Can I still have my donation matched?
Not all companies are listed with Amply, the company that assists us with collecting matching donations. But your company may still match your gift. The easiest way to find out is to ask someone in HR or consult your employee benefits. We are happy to help once you determine the process. In some cases you need to submit a form. In other cases you need to enter the match request on a company website.
